Chapter 8

Honestly, I shouldn?t even be surprised need to I? How the hell did Luke talk me into this?
Well I know 1 thing for confident, I’m never ever ever creating a ?excellent? girlfriend or girl of any type ever again.
The aftermath is just soo stressful.

Luke was around my house earlier than usual begging me for every single small detail about Evelyn.
Please excuse me whilst I PUKE!
He wanted to know why I talked to her (since the teacher had forced me to show her around)
and what we had talked about (school).
“You know I don?t feel it was a coincidence which you get to show her around” Luke said.

Notice how he says ?get to show her about? as though it?s was my option.

“How do you mean?” I ask looking up for buffing my nails.
“Well I think you had been supposed to show her around so you could introduce us”
“Is that your discreet way of asking me to introduce you to her?” I asked grinning in spite of myself.
Luke smiled sincerely, “Kinda but you realize, every person need to have a best friend like you”
“You mean somebody who can write the future?” I joke glowing from his compliment.
“No!” Luke laughed “I don?t know um an individual sweet and caring and everything”

And you must completely have a girlfriend like that too! Hint hint!

“For what it?s worth your pretty decent oneself Sheldon” I smirked.
Luke rolled his eyes realizing that was the biggest compliment he would get from me.
“So, now what?” He asks coming to sit on the beanbag beside me.
“I suppose I’ve to introduce you and you are able to take it from there” I paused.
I genuinely didn’t desire to say what I was going to say next. “I believe Evelyn likes
you too, she asked me about you”
“Really?” Luke grinned
“Really” I confirmed then ahead of I could change my mind “So we?ll attempt the next bit with out Microsoft office”
“And if it doesn?t function?”
“We?ll deal with that then”

At school the next day, I walked up to Evelyn with a smile, She looked taken back to say the least.
“Hi Evelyn”
“Oh, uh, Hi Marissa”
“Lovely day today isn?t it?”
“Um yes, yes it is” Evelyn watched me uneasily as if she was wondering what I was as much as.
“I have a person for you to meet” I stated, steering her towards Luke?s locker.
“Luke” I known as, he turned to me then seeing Evelyn he beamed and walked towards us.
“Hey Marissa what?s up?”
“The sky” I responded. Luke raised an eyebrow as if to say ?lame? and I stuck my tongue out at him childishly.
“Luke, this is Evelyn. Evelyn this is Luke”
“Hi” Evelyn said shyly and I swear she blushed.
“Hi Evelyn” Luke said, rolling the name on his tongue.
“Luke?s in our subsequent class” I explained to Evelyn as the 3 of us walked to our classroom.
Evelyn gave a little nod, seeking up at Luke from behind a thin curtain of her silky hair.
We sat together in class, Luke in the middle, me on one finish and Evelyn on the other.
I could hear them whispering to one another all through the lesson but I couldn?t actually make out what they were saying.
Besides I was attempting not pry. Yes, seriously!

Anyway Evelyn was with me all by means of the day once again, I wonder if the head teacher had made her timetable
identical to mine on purpose. We finally parted in the school gates right after the final bell of the day had rung.
Me and Luke continued down the road to our street.
“So?” I asked jolting Luke out of his fantasy
“I asked her to meet me in the cafe at 6 today”
“Cafe? Honestly, Luke could you not be a bit more romantic?”
“It?s not a date!” Luke protested “I?m just showing her about. She?s new to town,
anyway I?m going to take her to the bridge and the meadows and…”
I zoned out.

18:30 pm

I?m bored.
This is like among the only times exactly where I haven?t spoken to Luke ever because school.
I mean, we usually speak to one another around this time, either at his house or mine or the cafe or more than the telephone or… properly you get the point.

What can I do? I?ve flicked via all the books on my bookshelf but I?ve read them all already and I can?t bring myself to read them once again.
I wouldn?t even mind if that weird couple had been here to show me how to use my powers or send me on a high-security mission
like to rescue the president?s daughter from a gang of terrorists or one thing. Hold on, does the president even have a daughter?
Urgh forget that! What am I going to do. I?m soo bored that I’m nearly, really almost, tempted to do my homework!
Before Luke I could be with Tanya, with no stupid Scott. Perhaps we?d be talking to Marcy, Lucy and Kitty also.

Then suddenly it strikes me!
With only a hint of remorse, after all Tanya can do so significantly far better than Scott, I open a blank page on Microsoft word and start typing.

Tanya knew some thing was wrong. She?d heard it in his tone on the phone but even so she
could not have ready herself for what he had just said.
“I?m so sorry Tanya” Scott whispered.
A stray tear trickled down Tanya?s cheek.
“I don?t realize why, I thought we were ideal together.”
“I believed so too but this isn?t working out Tan, you will need somebody who’s going to create you happy and…”
“You make me pleased!”
“But you can?t have a one sided relationship”
“What are you saying? That I don?t make you happy?”

“No! That?s not what I?m saying. You make me pleased too but- however it?s not enjoy.”
Scott pinched the bridge of his nose as Tanya watched him expectantly.
“There?s an individual out there whose greater for both of us” He told her
“And I know you are going to uncover him and I don?t desire to be inside the way when you do”
“You mean there?s a person else you need, isn?t it? And I?m inside your way” Tanya realized
“Tan!” Scott said reaching out for her arm. Tanya jerked out of his grip.
“Forget it” She stated through gritted teeth “I understand”
She raised her hand to the charm on her wrist and ripped it off.

“Tanya” Scott murmured warily. Tanya ignored him dropping the charm on the forest floor exactly where it was lost amongst the fallen leaves scattered on the ground. Then without having a backward glance, she turned and ran to her old greatest friend?s house, understanding Marissa could be there to cheer her up.

I was sitting in my room, checking my myspace when I heard my phone go off. I picked it up and the caller id read “Tom.” I slowly flipped my telephone open and cleared my throat, preparing for the worst from him.
“Hello?” I managed to squeak.
“Leah, listen, I?m not gunna yell at you. I just wanted to speak,” he stated patiently.
“Oh. Okay, well can I go initial?” I asked as calm as achievable.
“Sure,” he sighed into the receiver.

“Okay, you’ve to know, I had no intention of hurting you.” I hated that sentence as soon as is came out of my mouth. It sounded like something everybody would say. It sounded like I didn?t care significantly. “That sounded dumb. But it?s all accurate. I still do believe you?re an remarkable guy, Tom. You?re so cute, you make me laugh all of the time, you?re there for me, you keep your words and every little thing in between. It?s just, Zach and I’ve so significantly history and I didn?t wish to hurt you. At all.”
“It?s okay, Leah. I?m not mad at you. I get it. I knew there was something up with Zach from the start. I just wanted to see if I was enough. I wanted to give it a try. I?m glad I identified out now, although. But, I meant to ask you, you still don?t have a date for prom do you?”

“Um,” all he said shocked me. I was waiting for a screaming match and me crying or him hanging up. He was taking this so properly. I knew I couldn?t give him up, even if it meant us just getting buddies. “No, I don?t in fact. Why do you ask?”
“I was wondering in case you would still desire to go?with me. Try this, us becoming pals factor.”
I hesitated prior to I answered him. “Sure. I would adore to go with you. But, you?re sure you?re okay with all of this?”

“Babe, it?s cool. Zach?s a lucky guy. All I?m saying is, he greater treat you proper,” I could hear him grinning by means of the phone.

“Maybe you?re right. Maybe I ought to give it a shot,” I said, my voice filled with doubt.
“I know I?m right. Trust me. He could be stupid to push you away now.”

“Thanks, Tommy. Once again. For?everything.”
“No difficulty, Leah.”
“By the way, my dress is like a dark blue, so I require you color coordinate with me here,” I stated, giggling.
“Sure thing,” he laughed too. “Blue tie, got it. I?ll see you then.”
“See you then,” I repeated him. “Goodnight,”
“Goodnight, Leah.”

After I set my telephone down on the laptop or computer desk, I got up from the chair. I walked more than to my closet and pulled out my dress. It was a corsette top, with sequins, and mixtures of dark and light blue. It shaped my physique and got wider at the bottom. I bought shoes to match. I pulled it against myself and looked inside the mirror. I tried to feel of approaches to show Zach this was it. I was giving him his last opportunity. That we would try. I didn?t even know who he was bringing to the dance. It was probably Shannon. Every person knew she had it in for Prom Queen too. Practically the entire student physique had voted for her. Zach would most likely be regarded as Prom King, or Tom. I couldn?t wait for this night. My mom had told me she was going to make in to a princess. I just hoped this princess would get her prince charming inside the ending.

The days counting down to prom came and went. I had every little thing set and Tom said he was picking me up at 7. My mom didn?t lie. She genuinely produced me out to be a princess. I felt an ache in my stomach. I knew it was all too very good to be accurate. I turned around and walked towards the girls bathroom, hiking up the skirt of my dress. I practically reached the door when I heard Zach call my name.

“Leah! Wait!” he yelled soon after me. I stopped in front of the girls bathroom. He ran towards me. “Why did you walk away? I didn?t finish what I had to say.”
“No, it?s alright. You don?t need to finish. That said enough. I told you, you don?t have to clarify anything, anymore.” I went to push the door open, but he caught my other wrist. He pulled me around the corner of the hallway, where no one was around us. It was just me and him. He backed me up against a wall and he stood in front of me. I didn?t take a look at him. I couldn?t. His entire black tie suit ensemble produced him appear cuter than usual.
“Leah, there?s absolutely nothing with Shannon. I told you this,” he whispered to me.
“It didn?t appear like that,” I felt so dumb. I felt like I could cry at that moment. I thought everything would function out perfectly.

“Leah, look at me,” he said. I nonetheless didn?t look. He took his fingers and placed them below my chin, generating me pull my head up. “I wanna be with you. Now. I don?t want concerns. I don?t want Shannon. I want you. I told you how I felt and I didn?t lie when I stated it. You mean the globe to me. I just want a chance, Leah. Just one. I wanna show you the guy I may be. He didn?t question something. He went right together with it. I pulled away for several seconds just to say, “I really like you, Zach.”

“I really like you too, Leah,” he whispered back. All I could think as we kept kissing was, I got my fairytale ending.

It appears there are times when I get truly mad at my dad. I enjoy him so significantly and I wish to get along with him.

Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of times when we get along and laugh together. Then you can find the times when we just fight and yell.

We are so alike, but so diverse. And often I do not feel he’ll ever get saved.
But I know that is wrong. Due to the fact I know he’s going to get saved. Faith is believing. I think my dad will get saved. Not only do I believe he CAN get saved, I believe he WILL.

I will not ever cease praying. And I know that life is hard, but with Christ I can do all items.
I do not desire to seem depressed, simply because I’m not a depressed person. I’m a normally pleased person. So I’ll continue to be happy whilst I wait for the day when my daddy and me can smile at one another and have the security of knowing we’ll be in heaven together someday.

“And… I really like listening to YOUR voice,” Kara said, smiling. She was laying on her stomach on top of her bed, talking on the telephone with Michael, her new boyfriend. She pulled in the sheets with her fingers.
“I can’t wait for tomorrow night.” Michael’s voice was music to Kara’s ears. She loved talking to him, she loved being with him.
They’d only been going out for two weeks, but they saw each and every other everyday. Not simply did they work at the restaurant together, they also spent lunch and dinner together. They spent every single waking moment with every other.

“I can’t either. But I have to go now. I’ll see you tomorrow!”
“Okay, see ya. Very good night.”
“Night.” Kara hung up, sighed, and turned on her back. When she turned she saw her mom standing in the doorway leaning on the door post.
“Mom!” she said, startled, then laughed.
Ann smiled and walked towards Kara. “I’m so happy for you.”
Kara smiled back and patted the bed subsequent to her, telling her mom to sit. Ann sat and looked into Kara’s eyes, putting a strand of hair behind her ear.
“Did I ever let you know about how your dad and I met?”
“Yeah. That it was adore at first sight.” Kara laughed.

“Well, sort of. You see, when your dad 1st saw me, he knew he was going to marry me. When I first saw him, I believed he was weird. He kept seeking at me and that produced me feel uncomfortable.”
“Didn’t you meet at church or something?”
“Actually my church had a bookstore. I worked there, and your dad had stopped in.”
Kara was interested in the story. “I did not know that. So what happened?”
“Well, he was really good, polite, a gentleman.” she caressed Kara’s face. “He left and a co-worker stated she believed he was cute. I laughed and stated I believed he was a creep. Sure sufficient, the next day he was there, buying some thing else. He began a conversation by asking me about the items. From then on he would come everyday. We had lots of talks. He ultimately asked me out to lunch. And you realize the rest from there.”

“Wow,” Kara commented. She sat up and crossed her legs, Indian-style. “I wish Dad had been here at this time.”
“So do I,” Ann whispered, tears coming to her eyes.
“Why would God let him die. Why would God give him cancer?” Kara was crying now. “How can God do that to us?”
Ann started to cry too. She embraced Kara. It was quiet for just a little.
“Everything is for a reason. I do not have an answer to your questions. But if Dad hadn’t died, we would nonetheless be in Vermont. And you wouldn’t have met Michael.” Kara pushed away from the embrace and looked at her mom. They each had tear-streaked faces.
“I’d rather have Dad than Michael.”
“Don’t say that. You would rather have both. Like I stated, points occur for a reason. I adore you, Kara. So did Dad. And so does God. He has a plan for your life. Our lives. And only He knows what’s going to occur subsequent.”
Kara sighed, and lay on her bed.
“Good night, Honey.” Ann kissed her forehead and left the room.

“Can I get you something?” Michael asked.
Kara looked at him and smiled. “I’m okay, thanks.”
Kara was at Michael’s home. They had just finished eating dinner, and had been now watching Tv.
“Your mom’s a great cook,” she said, snuggling into him on the couch.
“I know. But so is your mom.”
Kara grinned. “Well, she DOES own a restaurant…”
“You know, I’m so glad that she’s located far more people to function. Now the hours I’m not at work I can devote with you.”
“I feel the identical way.”

Michael looked down at her and Kara up at him. They both smiled. “This would be an excellent time for a kiss,” Kara believed. But Michael didn’t make a move. He just turned his head and started watching Tv once again. Kara wondered if there was something wrong with her. It had been two weeks already. Not only had they been dating, but they were an official couple. Her mom loved him, and his household loved her. Why was he taking so long to kiss her?
Michael watched the Tv and silently scolded himself. “That would have been a excellent time to kiss her…” he believed. “What’s wrong with me? I’m positive she’s waiting for me to create the move…”

He began to sit up. Kara got off him and raised her eyebrows. He stood up and gave her his hand. “Come on,” he stated.
“Where are we going?”
“You’ll see. Mom, I’ll be back in an hour!”
Kara wondered exactly where they had been going. It was silent inside the automobile. He parked and got out. She followed.
“The park?” she asked. It was eight o’ clock, as well as the sun was virtually set. The heat was nonetheless there.
“Yes, the park,” he answered, taking her hand. She gladly accepted.

He put his arm around her shoulders. She loved the warmth of his embrace. She wrapped her arms about his waist as they walked.

When I went house the door was open and I heard individuals crying.

I got up. Not by my choice however it felt like it was by force.

“But I can?t see you. Where are-”

An angel appeared in my sight and my eyes widened.

“Come with me Lucy. Please.” The angel said.

My body was forced to move up closer to the angel.

“What are you performing? Quit it.”

But the angel didn?t quit. “Lucy, you don?t know what you mean to us.”

“What do you mean, us? Are there other-”

“Angels? Yes. Numerous enjoy you. You?re gorgeous Lucy.”

Love me?

“Well I don?t need to go with you.”

The angel stopped.

“Lucy, why do you forsake me? “

I started to walk back. This angel was crazy!

I closed my eyes although walking back and suddenly I tripped and fell on a branch.

“Lucy get up! Lucy, Lucy get up!”

I opened my eyes to uncover Alex holding me.

“Lucy you okay?” He asked.

“No.”

“Do you need something?”

“Can I stay at your residence, Nicky kicked me out.”

“Yeah, you’ll be able to remain within the guest room.”

When I got to his home he showed me the guess room and I plopped inside the bed. “Lucy, in case you need me I?ll be inside the room next to the bathroom down stairs okay.”

“Yeah. Thanks Alex.”

“Your welcome. Are we still on for prom?”

“Yeah.”

He smiled and cracked the door and walked to his room.

I stared at the cracked door felling one thing bad was going to occur.

The angel appeared and it had red eyes. It stared at me. I tried to look away but I couldn?t.

Then I heard his voice, its sweet, sweet voice.

“Lucy,” it referred to as out “I cant wait until prom.”

Chapter 2

I woke up not truly remembering what had happened. All I could bear in mind was I fainted. I woke up and I was nonetheless hungry. But the discomfort was gone. I wasn’t on the road or grass anymore. I was within the park. I was on some thing. And it felt comfortable. I sat up and I saw a guy. He was uber cute! He had black hair. He was nonetheless sleeping. I looked at my hand and legs. It was all bandaged up. I guess he should have helped me. I tried to stand up but my leg was really painful so I fell to the ground. When I fell to the ground, he woke up.

‘Are you okay?’ he asked me.
I nodded and just sat there. I was quite confused.
He suddenly laughed.
‘What?’ I asked.
‘You’re so quiet’ he said.
‘No, I’m just confused’ I stated to him.
‘Oh, okay. I’m Matt’ he said smiling.
‘I’m Avril’ I stated.

He stood up and held his hand out trying to assist me up.
I shook my head.

‘What’s wrong?’ he asked.
‘My leg hurts’ I stated back
‘Oh..Are you hungry?’ he asked
‘Very ‘ I said
‘What do you want to eat? your preferred food? ‘
‘I do not know ‘

He pulled me up and carried me on his back. He smells excellent. I smiled to myself and put my head on his shoulder.

‘Why had been you lying on the side of the road?’ He asked.
‘I fell and I fainted’ I said
‘Oh.. We’re you going back property from school?’ he asked once more.
‘No. I ran away from home’ I stated.
‘Me too’ he smiled at me.

I smiled back and blushed a bit. We reached a food court.

‘Do you have any water? ‘ I asked him.
‘Yeah ‘ He handed me a bottle of water. I took it and washed my mouth.
‘Thanks’ I handed it back to him.
‘No problem’

He put me down on a chair.

‘I’ll be proper back’ he said
I nodded and he went to the counter. He came back with two chicken wings. He handed me 1 and we ate it together.

‘Is your leg much better?’ he asked me.
‘Yeah, I guess’ I said.

After we had been carried out, we walked outside. My leg felt much better so he did not piggyback me anymore.

‘Do you will need a place to remain?’ he asked me.
‘No i really should most likely go’ I say walking away. He grabbed my hand.
‘Please don’t go. I’m sorry if I did anything’ he stated seeking upset.
‘No you did not do something. I just need to go.’
‘Please I require your help’
‘Okay, fine’

He smiled. He had dimples and he looked so cute.

‘What do you need me to do?’ I asked him.
‘Um..you’ll see just follow me okay?’ he stated.
‘Okay’ I said softly.
‘Don’t be concerned. I’m not going to eat you’ he said smiling.

I looked down in case he caught me blushing.

‘Oh yeah, I forgot something’ He handed me my ipod.
‘Thanks. Where’d you get it from?’ I asked.
‘Um..The wire was sticking out of pocket and I kinda took it and listened to it a bit’ he said
‘Heyy!’
‘I’m sorry. I was bored.’
‘It’s okay’.

We reached a place. I do not know what it was. It was not a residence, not a motel, not a hotel or anything. I guess it is where he stays. We walked in.

‘Sup dude’ some guy stated to Matt.
‘Hey, exactly where are the rest?’ Matt said to him.
‘Inside’ the other guy stated.

He pulled me to a place that looks like the living room. He introduced me to all of them. There had been four of them including Matt. That’s Austin ( the guy that was talking to him) , thats Jake and that is Taylor.

‘Sup’ they all said searching at me.
‘Hi?’ I replied confused.
‘We require you to just stay with us for a bit’ Matt stated to me.
‘Okay but why?’ I asked
‘I’ll let you know later okay? ‘
‘Fine’ I stated.

I looked about. The residence was massive. I walked into a room myself and WOW! There were like guitars and drums as other musical instruments.

‘Hello’ one of them said to me.
‘Hi. You’re Taylor proper?’ I said
‘Yeah. You? You in no way told us your name’ then the rest of them came.
‘Yeah’ they all said.
‘Avril’ I said.

They all walked away except for Taylor.

‘You’ll get used to us’ he said giggling.
‘Yeah. I guess I would’ I smiled at him.
‘How old are you currently? Jake and I are 18 and Austin and Matt are 17′ He stated.
‘I’m 15′ I stated.
‘Okay. Let’s go to the others’
‘Yeah okay’

I thought to myself.. Wow they all are older than me and they all appear so wow! They are so cute. They all have black hair except Austin and Taylor.

Chapter 3

Taylor took me outside where the rest of them had been. There was an enormous pool. I couldn’t swim so I just stood there.

‘Hey Avril! Come within the pool and swim with us!’ Jake shouted to me.
‘I have no swim suits or anything’ I shouted back.
‘It’s okay. You don’t need to have them. We’ll get you new clothes in case you want!’ he shouted.
‘Fine!’ I shouted.

I took of my shirt and pants and jumped in. I was scared due to the fact I couldn’t swim. But you wouldn’t know in the event you do not attempt. Suddenly, they were whispering to every other.

‘What?!’ I stated.
‘Nothing, nothing’ Austin said grinning.
‘Come on! Tell me, please?’ I said.
‘Nice body?’ they all said.

I put my face in the water so that they couldn’t see me blushing. Jake swam to me.

‘Why are you currently standing there?’ he asked.
‘Um..I cannot swim’ I stated softly.
‘Oh..Come on. Just try’ he said smiling.
‘Ok’ I said.

After a long time, I was finding the hang of it.

‘Wow! you’re a quickly learner’ all of them stated.
‘Well, I got great teachers’ I said

The all smiled and stared at me.

‘What?’ I stated.

Then they signaled every other. Then a person grabbed me from the back. I couldn’t tell who it was.

‘Hey, let me go!’ I screamed.
‘Okay’ Then an individual threw me some goggles . I put them on. I discovered out that Taylor was the 1 who grabbed me. I had a feeling that an individual else was gonna grab me since Taylor or any of them will not let me off that easily. I turned around and Matt pulled me underwater. I held my breath.I tried to pull away but he brought me to the other side.

‘Hey, what are you currently performing?’ I asked
‘Oh, we’re playing a game’ he said
‘More details?’ I asked
‘ Oh, right. Nicely, Austin and I are suppose to bring you away from Taylor and Jake. If not the loser would have to cook dinner and some other punishment.
‘Oh, you could’ve told me’ I stated.
‘I just did’ he said laughing.

I just kept quiet and helped Matt and Austin. Matt was like super rapidly and everything but they lost. I guess due to the fact Taylor and Jake had been the oldest. I was really tired so I slept on the chair simply because they nonetheless wanted to play.

When I woke up following my brief nap, Jake carried me. Matt and Austin had been cooking our dinner. Taylor was within the music room.

‘What’s Taylor doing within the music room?’ I asked Jake
‘He’s just taking some stuff for Matt and Austin’s punishment’ he said.
‘Oh. You guys really know how you can have fun’ I said smiling at him.

He put me down on the living room chair and said, ‘Thanks’ . I smiled at him.

‘I’m gonna aid Taylor’ he said
‘Kay’ I stated.

He walked to the music room while I went to the Kitchen. It was starting to get cold. Austin was cooking. Where’s Matt? I believed to myself. Then somebody hugged me from the back. I looked around and it was Matt. He did not let go of me and put his head on my shoulder.

‘Hi?’ I stated to him.
‘Hello, Avril’ he stated.
‘Why are not you helping Austin?’ I asked.
‘I did my component and I know that you’re cold and all of us including you do not have a sweater or anything’ He stated.
‘Thanks, but you’ll be able to let go’ I said
‘Ok’ he stated smiling at him. I gave a brief hug and went to Austin.

I walked to Austin and he was virtually carried out cooking.

‘Need any aid?’ I asked
‘Nah, its okay’ he stated.
After a even though he stated, ‘ You can cook?’ he asked

He asked me, ‘ You cold?’

He grabbed my arm and said , ‘ We’ll try to do some thing about it’ he said smiling.
‘Thanks’ I said.

Then Taylor referred to as me. I walked to him.

‘Yeah?’ I asked
‘Austin told me that you simply were cold’ he said.
‘Well um yeah kinda’ I stated.
‘Just wait till Austin is carried out cooking okay?’ he said
‘Sure’ I said.

Austin shouted, ‘ I’M Carried out!’

Great! now I can uncover out what the other punishment is. I smile to myself simply because I feel like I’m really cared for.

Sam’s P.O.V;

I ought to have kept my mouth shut. I actually ought to have. But I didn?t.

Sarah was now sat next to me on the bench frowning up at me. I had to tell her.

Sarah?s P.O.V;

I took a deep breath and smiled as I unwillingly closed the door on Sam soon after a fabulous afternoon. He treated me so proper and it felt incredible getting with him; I just didn?t want it to end. But I knew it had to ultimately.

‘Hi, Sarah! How did it go?’ My dad named from the front room. I walked in and identified him sat in front of the Television.

‘Amazing.’ I answered basically.

‘So he forgave you?’ He asked and I nodded.

‘Yeah.’

‘I told you so!’ Dad replied in a juvenile manner. I laughed.

‘I know you did. And dad, if I ask you one thing, you’ve to promise to feel it by way of before giving me a straight answer, okay?’

‘Sure honey. Something at all.’ He replied. I loved my dad for his laid back attitude.

The day flew by, and I could tell Sarah was exhausted by the finish of it. I got off the bus at her cease and walked her residence, exactly where her dad invited me in for a cup of tea, which ended up as a lengthy, drawn out conversation about the holiday at Christmas.

‘I’m so tired.’ Sarah complained, resting her head on my shoulder.
‘I far better go then. And let you sleep,’ I stated, putting down my empty coffee mug on the coffee table.

‘No, stay a bit longer. I’m fine.’

After Sarah’s dad left the room to take a organization call, I lay in silence with Sarah until she lastly fell asleep on my shoulder.
